betPawa is offering exclusive boosted odds for the biggest football matches over the weekend. We want to give you an advantage with previews of two Premier League matches and one from Italy’s Serie A. Two European hopefuls, Chelsea and Aston Villa, meet on Sunday at Stamford Bridge ahead of the big clash between Liverpool and Manchester City. Inter meet Fiorentina in Florence with the teams level points.

Chelsea v Aston Villa

The Londoners are unbeaten in their last 4 league matches and beat Leicester City 2-1 away from home last weekend to climb up to third position. Villa’s form guide in the league isn’t as positive. They dropped points against Crystal Palace at home in a 2-2 draw and haven’t won in  their last 4 league matches (L2, D2).

In the head to head league stats, Chelsea and Villa share 2 wins apiece and the most recent match was a 2-2 draw in April.

Unai Emery hailed his team’s 0-0 draw against Juventus on Wednesday evening. They put on a good defensive display and remained compact.

Enzo Maresca’s men have 1 day less to recover for Sunday’s encounter as they took on Heidenheim in the Conference League on Thursday.

Senegal’s Nicolas Jackson is a player to watch for the Blues, he has scored 3 goals in his last 5 league matches.

Liverpool v Manchester City

The Arne Slot era has started with a bang as the Merseyside giants reign supreme at the head of the Premier League table.

Slot couldn’t have wished for a better time to face Pep Guardiola’s team in the league. Before Tuesday night’s 3-3 draw to Feyernoord in the Champions League, Manchester City had lost 5 games in all competitions - the longest losing streak of Guardiola’s managerial career.

City visit Anfield after receiving a 4-0 thrashing by Tottenham at the Etihad. In contrast, Liverpool came from behind to beat Southampton 3-2 on the road courtesy of 2 Mohamed Salah goals.

Erling Haaland and Mohamed Salah are at the apex of the scoring charts. The Norwegian is the top scorer with 12 while the Egyptian has scored 10.

In team news, Cono Bradley was forced off with a hamstring issue midweek against Real Madrid and Ibrahima Konate was treated after the match. Slot could decide to recall Trent Alexander-Arnold into the starting line-up for Sunday’s match after he played a few minutes in Europe.

Guardiola was boosted by having Ruben Dias in his Champions League squad. City are short in defensive options with John Stones, Mateo Kovacic, Rodri and Oscar Bobb all unlikely to feature.

The last 2 league matches between the teams have ended 1-1, but Liverpool are the overwhelming favourites for Sunday’s clash.

Fiorentina v Inter

Inter and Fiorentina meet in Florence with both teams in good form. Simone Inzaghi’s reigning champions have won 3 of their last 5 league matches. They also beat RB Leipzig in the Champions League on Tuesday.

Fiorentina have won their last 5 league matches, including a 5-1 demolition of Roma at home. Raffaele Palladino’s side are level on points with Inter (28) and have drawn (4) and lost (1) the same number of matches.

Fiorentina’s star performer this season has been Moise Kean. The Italian forward has 7 goals in his last 5 league matches. At the back, former Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea has kept 3 clean sheets in his last 5 matches.

Inter’s attacking threat is dangerous as they’ve scored 31 goals so far, the second highest in the league. Marcus Thuram scored 2 goals for Inter in their 5-0 rout of Verona last time out. The Frenchman already has 9 league goals in this campaign.

Fiorentina can leapfrog Inter in the standings with a win, but Inzaghi’s side won’t go down without a fight.
